Our founder, Lilian, grew up in a household where strength and resilience were embodied by the women around her. From a young age, Lilian watched her mother manage a clothing store, becoming the pillar that supported their family through thick and thin. Despite the tough exterior her mother often displayed, a response perhaps to the immense responsibilities she shouldered, Lilian saw the tenacity and the silent sacrifices behind it.
The dynamics within her family were complex. Lilian’s relationship with her mother was strained; she grew up amidst emotional turbulence, often finding herself at the receiving end of her mother’s frustrations, which were exacerbated by her father’s lack of responsibility. Determined to forge a different path, Lilian embraced qualities that were the antithesis of the harshness she experienced: empathy, kindness, and understanding.
However, as Lilian ventured into relationships and the world beyond, she encountered similar challenges, drawing her to partners who, beneath a charming exterior, mirrored the controlling and narcissistic tendencies that had shadowed her early life. After enduring years in a toxic relationship, Lilian reached a turning point. She recognized the undeniable strength and resilience that had been passed down from her mother and realized these traits were not burdens but empowerments.
Inspired by the formidable women in her family and motivated by her desire to forge a positive change, Lilian founded WonderlandByLilian during one of the most challenging periods of her life. She frequently travels around the world, gathering inspiration from different cultures and styles. Lilian's passion for fashion is rooted in a deep love for personalized, handcrafted pieces that capture the spirit of each individual. Her dedication to innovation and craftsmanship has made WonderlandByLilian a standout in the world of custom-made bridal and evening wear.
Rose - Customer Service Manager
Rose is the friendly, organized face behind every client interaction at WonderlandByLilian. Having studied education at university, Rose joined our team shortly after graduation and quickly became an essential part of the business.
